Accessible Welcomes

Accessible Welcomes is a educational research project I conducted in 2020 for my graduate-level class Exceptionalities in the Art Room taught by professor Heather Nunez-Olmstead at Maine College of Art.

I investigated the question "what are the best practices for accessibility and inclusion in an educational setting in traditional classrooms and alternative organizing spaces?” This research culminated in a beta website and DIY zine that I hope to continue to update as I continue my research into accessibility and inclusion in art education settings.
